LEONARDO Activities

Lahti Conservatory is the leading partner of a Finnish network of conservatories, involved in two EU Leonardo da Vinci projects for international exchange of students and staff. Our Finnish partners are the concervatories of Helsinki, Central Ostrobothnia and Joensuu.

CONCERT CIRCLE 4
Students in vocational music education improve their professional, social, and intercultural skills by spending a 3 week period in a foreign school.  They receive tutoring in their own instrument and participate in orchestra/ensemble productions of their host school.
Project term: Fall 2010 - Spring 2012


WORKING MUSICIAN 2
Each networking school arranges a one week exchange happening with a specific theme for teachers and administration personel of its foreign partners, also involving its own personnel and students in the week's program. 
Project term: Fall 2009 - Spring 2011.
