LEONARDO Activities

Participants of WM2 week in Lahti, visiting Sibelius Hall in September 2010.

Lahti Conservatory is the leading partner of a Finnish network of conservatories, involved in  EU Leonardo da Vinci projects for international exchange of students.  Our Finnish partners are the concervatories of Helsinki, Central Ostrobothnia and Joensuu.

Students in vocational music education improve their professional, social, and intercultural skills by spending a 3 week period in a foreign school.  They receive tutoring in their own instrument and participate in orchestra/ensemble productions of their host school.
